researchED Toronto 2020

May 1 @ 5:30 pm - May 2 @ 4:30 pm

- US$20 – US$55

researchED is returning to Canada– with its fourth researchED conference program and it’s in the downtown heart of Toronto, Canada’s largest city.  Working with researchED UK, our Canadian organizing committee has assembled some of the brightest thinkers and teacher-researchers from the UK and right across Canada. The next researchED Toronto conference will once again be produced in partnership with the Ontario Secondary Schools Teachers’ Federation.

Our amazing cast of speakers headed by researchED founder Tom Bennett will include some internationally-recognized leaders in evidence-based research: Dylan Wiliam, renowned for his work Embedding Formative Assessment, Natalie Wexler, author of The Knowledge Gap (2019), Martin Robinson, author of Trivium 21c(2015), and Daisy Christodoulou, UK student assessment expert, and our own John Mighton, founder of JUMP Math. Stay tuned for regular updates with a growing list of confirmed Canadian and international speakers.

Come and learn what the latest research tells us about the best ways to teach, lead schools, and help children learn.  Listen, learn and speak to the researchers, teachers and academics transforming the best research into teaching practice.  Network, get ideas, be challenged and ask questions at one of the most unique, stimulating and engaging events in 2020.

Please submit your session proposal HERE.

We especially welcome proposals from members of communities that have historically been under represented.

We hope to see you there.
