researchED Belgium postponed
Information for delegates
At this time events attracting less than 1000 delegates are permitted in Belgium. Taking into account current developments, the continuing proliferation of the COVID-19 (corona) virus, and advisory statements from multiple leading epidemiologists, we feel that we are left with no choice but to cancel researchED Belgium. Not least because we do not want to contribute to the spreading of COVID-19 amongst teachers, an essential part of our workforce.
- We are in the process of securing a new date this academic year together with our host Thomas More.
- We will endeavour to keep the speaker line-up intact as much as possible; for this we depend on speaker availability.
- Your ticket will remain valid for researchED Belgium on the new date.
We hope to see you soon in good health!
On Saturday 28th of March 2020, researchED will set foot in Belgium for the first time, hosted by Thomas More University of Applied Sciences in Mechelen. This full-day conference will focus on closing the gap between educational research and educational practice.
ResearchED helps teachers to distinguish sensible innovations and research from nonsensical educational developments. It challenges researchers to explain how their research can make a difference in daily educational practice. ResearchED was founded by British teacher and author Tom Bennett. He will be joining the opening of the first researchED in Belgium and on 28th March, and is one of the must-see speakers.
Our Belgium event is mainly in Dutch, but we will have 1-2 English sessions in every round.
