Sam Rametse is a programmes manager at Zenex Foundation. He has 14 years of experience working in the field of Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education. He has worked at various organisations including the Gauteng Department of Education’s Sci-Bono Discovery Centre; the National Research Foundation’s Hartebeesthoek Radio Astronomy Observatory (HartRAO). The last 6 years has seen him employed by the Square Kilometre Array Project where he managed the Schools development programme within the Human Capacity Development Programme. Sam studied applied mathematics and He believes that a lot can be achieved by using applied mathematics methods to solve social issues more specifically challenges facing our education system.
