Fight or flight? How ‘stuck’ schools are overcoming isolation

In this presentation I will discuss the research we did on ‘stuck schools’, that is those schools that have been less than good for 13 years or more. We used a matched sample of stuck and unstuck schools to find out what factors could help schools get unstuck. I will go through the main findings, and their implications for school improvement practice, leadership, and accountability.
