DESCRIPTION:researchED Belgium cancelled\nInformation for delegates  \nWhy? \nAt this time events attracting less than 1000 delegates are permitted in Belgium. Taking into account current developments\, the continuing proliferation of the COVID-19 (corona) virus\, and advisory statements from multiple leading epidemiologists\, we feel that we are left with no choice but to cancel researchED Belgium. Not least because we do not want to contribute to the spreading of COVID-19 amongst teachers\, an essential part of our workforce. \nWhat’s next? \n\nWe are in the process of securing a new date this academic year together with our host Thomas More.\nWe will endeavour to keep the speaker line-up intact as much as possible; for this we depend on speaker availability.\nYour ticket will remain valid for researchED Belgium on the new date.\n\nWe hope to see you soon in good health! \n\nOn Saturday 28th of March 2020\, researchED will set foot in Belgium for the first time\, hosted by Thomas More University of Applied Sciences in Mechelen. This full-day conference will focus on closing the gap between educational research and educational practice. \nResearchED helps teachers to distinguish sensible innovations and research from nonsensical educational developments. It challenges researchers to explain how their research can make a difference in daily educational practice. ResearchED was founded by British teacher and author Tom Bennett.
