“The best that is thought and said”
Welcome to Rugby researchED! We are incredibly proud and excited to announce the line up for the 4th researchED Rugby, a collaboration between the “outstanding” state secondary Ashlawn School and the world famous Rugby School, origin place of the Arnoldian concept of the English school curriculum and the global sport.
Every year researchED Rugby has been honoured to announce fascinating speakers in the evidence-informed education world and in our fourth iteration we think we’ve achieved the best line up yet; an effervescent mix of established stars, bona-fide prodigies and fresh voices.
Our amazing speakers will be arranged, as last year was so popular, into subject strands: Leadership, research, English, Maths, TWO SCIENCE STRANDS(!), Geography, MFL, and a number of debate panels in the Rugby School debate chamber.
This year’s speakers include these inspirational, wonderful people… With even more to be announced!

Tickets will sell fast! Last year over 450 delegates attended. This year Rugby School will be rolling out the red carpet and we are aiming to be even better: more biscuits, more coffee and delicious filling lunch than you can shake an ancient turret at!
And this year we are introducing KNOWLEDGE NETWORKING! So many delegates love to be able to have deep conversations with like-minded people we thought we’d put in sessions where you can informally chat to all the speakers in a strand over drinks and nibbles in a well-appointed Rugby School room. That way you can make lots of contacts and ask plenty of questions about your pedagogical passions and curriculum queries.

I sincerely hope that you can join us at #rEDRugby for a fabulous day of optimism, practical research-informed ideas, networking and conversation.
